Chosen By The Universe — App Privacy Policy

AMF Studio OÜ, an Estonian company with registry code 17530699, provides the Chosen By The Universe mobile app.

Information you enter

The app lets you enter names, birth dates, birth times, birthplaces, and information used for astrology, compatibility, and numerology readings.

These details are processed on your device to calculate and display results. The current app does not require an account or send these details to an AI reading service.

Birthplace searches use the app’s location database. Entering a birthplace does not grant access to your device’s current GPS location.

Only enter another person’s details if you have an appropriate reason and permission where required.

Saved details

When you choose to save a person’s details, the app stores them locally on your device. We do not provide cloud synchronization of these profiles.

Saved profiles remain until you delete them through the app or remove the app’s stored data. Device backups may retain copies depending on your operating system and backup settings.

Details entered without saving are used for the current app session.

Purchases and subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription through Google Play or Apple’s App Store, the relevant store processes the payment under its own privacy policy.

We do not receive your full payment-card number or security code. Purchase information needed to establish your entitlement to premium features may include a transaction identifier, the product purchased, and subscription status.

Before subscriptions become available, we will update this policy to identify any additional service provider involved in purchase verification.

Support enquiries

If you email us, we receive your email address and any information you include. We use this information to respond, resolve problems, and handle privacy requests.

Please avoid sending unnecessary birth details, payment information, or other sensitive information. We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry and any applicable legal obligations.

Advertising and sharing

The current app does not display third-party advertisements or sell your personal information.

Your locally entered birth details are not shared with advertisers. App stores, your operating system, and your email provider may independently process information under their own policies.

Security

We aim to limit personal information handling by keeping reading calculations and saved profiles on your device. Protect your device with a passcode and keep its operating system updated.

No device or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your privacy rights

Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal information we hold, or object to its processing. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

We cannot directly access or delete profiles stored only on your device. You can manage those profiles within the app.

Contact chosenbytheuniverse@proton.me to exercise your rights. You may also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate or your local supervisory authority.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The latest version will be available on this page with an updated date.
